3.3 How ezmlm list setup is controlled

ezmlm lists are set up with a one line ezmlm-make(1) command. Existing lists can be modified using the ezmlm-make ‘-e’ or ‘-+’ (*) switches, without loss of archive, subscriber database, or other state information, or by creating and removing certain control files. In ezmlm-idx version 7 or later, many of these options can also be enabled or disabled by creating or removing files in the list directory, as described in subsequent sections.

The operation of ezmlm-make is controlled by ezmlmrc(*). To customize ezmlm list setup on a host-wide or user (virtual domain)-wide basis, copy this file from the ezmlm configuration directory to /etc/ezmlmrc or ~user/.ezmlmrc and edit it. (see More Information)
